Funding from this years event will be used to support a local 36 year old mother of three that is undergoing chemo treatments while fighting against Leukemia.  We have been informed that she has been traveling from the Wyoming County area to the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for her treatments.  Funds from the Bette Gardner Memorial Ride will be used to help lessen the burden that the Family receives from these increasing transportation costs.

We cannot say it enough.  Thanks to the support of our Sponsors, donators, friends, and families the 2013 Bette Gardner Memorial Ride was a success.  Over 50 people attended the event in support of the the continuing mission of the Bette Gardner Memorial Ride in supporting local families in fighting the rising costs of combating debilitating disease and illness.  Preliminary numbers are looking like a total of over $1,000.00 that will go into the Bette Gardner Fund for our mission.
